Description:
DS3231 Real-Time Clock (RTC) Module is a highly accurate and reliable timekeeping device commonly used in embedded systems, DIY electronics projects, and industrial applications. It is based on the DS3231 IC, which is a high-precision RTC with an integrated temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO). The module is typically used for maintaining accurate time even when the main power is turned off, making it ideal for projects that require real-time time tracking.
The DS3231 RTC module can keep track of time down to seconds, minutes, hours, day of the week, date, month, and year. It also features an onboard battery (usually a coin cell battery) that ensures the clock keeps running even when the system is powered down or disconnected.
