CJMCU-4051 74HC4051 8-Channel Analog Multiplexer/Demultiplexer Breakout Board for Arduino is a versatile and compact module that allows you to extend the number of analog inputs or outputs on your Arduino or microcontroller project. This breakout board is based on the 74HC4051 IC, an 8-channel multiplexer that can select one of eight analog or digital signals and pass it to a single output pin. It can also operate as a demultiplexer, distributing one input signal to one of the eight outputs, making it a powerful tool for complex analog signal routing, sensor networks, or any application requiring the selection of multiple analog or digital signals.
This module makes it possible for a microcontroller, like an Arduino, to interact with a larger number of sensors or devices without needing more input pins, thus saving valuable pins and expanding the capabilities of your project.
