TP5000 3.6V/4.2V 1A LithiumBattery Charger Module
Description:
The TP5000 is a lithium battery charging module designed to charge single-cell lithium-ion or lithium-polymer batteries. Here's how you can use it:

Wiring: Connect the TP5000 module to your power source and lithium battery. The module typically has four pins: B+ (positive battery terminal), B- (negative battery terminal), IN+ (positive input terminal), and IN- (negative input terminal). Connect the positive and negative terminals of your lithium battery to B+ and B-, respectively. Then connect your power source (e.g., a 5V power supply) to IN+ and IN-.

Input Voltage: The TP5000 module operates within a range of input voltages typically from 4.5V to 5.5V. Make sure your power source provides a voltage within this range.

Charging Current: The TP5000 module can provide a charging current of up to 1A to the connected battery. You can set the charging current by connecting a resistor (usually labeled as RPROG) between the ISET pin and GND. The charging current can be calculated using the formula: Charging Current (A) = 1.1V / RPROG (ohms).

Charging Status: The TP5000 module typically has an LED indicator that shows the charging status. When the battery is charging, the LED may be lit or blinking. Once the battery is fully charged, the LED may turn off or stay on depending on the module design.

Charging Protection: The TP5000 module includes overcharge protection to prevent the battery from being overcharged. Once the battery reaches full charge, the charging current is reduced or stopped to prevent overcharging.

Usage: Once the TP5000 module is connected and powered on, it will automatically start charging the connected battery. Monitor the charging status using the LED indicator and ensure that the battery is properly connected and charging.

Safety Precautions: Lithium batteries can be hazardous if not handled properly. Follow safety guidelines for lithium battery charging, including avoiding overcharging, over-discharging, and short circuits. Do not leave the battery unattended while charging, and ensure proper ventilation in case of overheating.
